Ok First, we have to talk about what’s actually on your windows and why it is a pain to clean.

The Right Way to Clean Your Car Windows

Believe it or not you don’t need to be an expert to clean windows like a pro.

1. Use the right glass cleaner.
Avoid anything with ammonia. It can damage tinted windows and leave residue(resulting in streaking). We use automotive-safe, ammonia-free glass cleaners in all our auto detailing services.

2. Choose a quality low nap microfiber towel.
Never use paper towels or newspapers —they leave scratches and streaks. Use a clean, dry microfiber towel.

3. Work one window at a time.
Spray lightly (don’t soak the glass), and wipe in a cross hatch pattern. Then flip the towel to the dry side and wipe in the same pattern. This makes sure the product is evenly spread across the window and any excess is wiped up by the dry side of the towel.

4. Clean the inside too.
Repeat this same process with the inside of the windows.
